Bai Ling did it! Our GFY fave of yore popped by the picket strains on Tuesday, and by Wednesday evening, the guild and the producers agreed in precept to a deal that ended the strike as of midnight. We talked about this in our paid Drinks With Broads edition today, however couldn’t resist crowing about it right here, too. The small print will probably begin leaking tomorrow, or perhaps Friday, after the SAG governing board rubber-stamps it and sends it to the membership for his or her perusal. Then they get to vote, talk about, and ratify — however within the meantime, I imagine they contemplate this factor formally completed and folks can GO BACK TO WORK. Or, at this level, return to JOB HUNTING.
What reveals are you most excited to have again? What offers do you assume are imminent (my guess: Apple will begin locking in actors for a Ted Lasso spinoff)?
