Multipurpose frigates

The Languedoc and the Alsace are every multipurpose frigates part of the FREMM family of warships.

Beneath the FREMM initiative, or “European multi-purpose frigate” mission, the ships had been developed by France and Italy. This led to the model new know-how of surface-combatant ships acknowledged in France as a result of the Aquitaine class and in Italy as a result of the Bergamini class.
