Teacher Threatens to ‘Shoot Up’ Preschool in Nashville | The Gateway Pundit

Police have arrested a Tennessee coach for allegedly threatening to shoot a colleague at her preschool.

Sheneca Cowart was arrested and charged with assault, menace of mass violence at a university, and two counts of carrying a weapon to a school following Thursday’s incident at The Academy of McCrory Lane.

NBC News reports,

Authorities took Cowart into custody after witnesses acknowledged she threatened to “retrieve a firearm and made threats in opposition to 1 different coach and the varsity after an argument,” the Metro Nashville Police Division acknowledged.

Staff members alleged 29-year-old Cowart threatened to “shoot up” the preschool and that she retains a gun “on her,” in step with NBC Data affiliate WSMV.

One different coach claimed to overhear Cowart say “after I start capturing, you increased run,” prompting the preschool to enter lockdown, WSMV reported.

The police division recovered one handgun from Cowart’s purse and one different firearm throughout the driver’s side door of her automobile.

Cowart was held on a $37,000 bond sooner than being launched from jail the equivalent evening time.

Cowart’s arrest has inevitably sparked the gun rights dialog and sparked Democrats to pander to their base that they’ll “act.”

A coach accused of threatening to shoot up a Nashville preschool has some mom and father questioning whether or not or not arming lecturers is an efficient suggestion.

“We’ve achieved nothing, sadly, and we’re merely throughout the mode prepared for the following tragedy, and hopefully, after the following tragedy, we’ll act,” state Rep. Bo Mitchell (D-Nashville) acknowledged.

This data comes as a bill allowing armed teachers in public faculties strikes by Tennessee’s legislature.
