Cailee Spaeny Kicks Off The Next Leg of “Priscilla” Promotion in London

First: She will promote this as a result of it’s not a struck undertaking and SAG isn’t in battle with its studio.

Second: She does look very younger, however is actually 25.

Third: Apparently, Priscilla is excellent and not particularly pro-Elvis, which I do know was a matter of concern final time this was mentioned. (Or, at the very least, just isn’t a hagiography of Elvis; it appears nuanced, which is what I might count on from Sofia Coppola.)

Fourth:  Whereas I believe Cailee seems very fairly right here, and it is a good gown objectively talking, if I have been her stylist, I believe I’d veer away from something even remotely retro. I’m not saying that I’d put her into one thing insanely editorial, or like a one-legged catsuit with a field on her head, however this particular kind of look feels tonally much like the function she’s selling, and this movie is mainly her huge break — now’s you need to set up her as her personal persona. (Margot Robbie, on the other hand, could really go for it with Barbie as a result of she’s already so personally established as a star.) Do you agree? I’d have an interest to listen to.
