Dua Lipa Has Giant Hair on Elle

There’s a bizarre disconnect for me between the quilt, the quilt line, and the story itself. The latter is gushy and complimentary — it doesn’t dig too deep or let you know a lot it’s possible you’ll not have already heard — and the header on right here proclaims Dua Lipa the Queen of the Dance Ground, which I feel is true. You can not hear her songs with out tapping a toe or shimmying a bit. “Dance the Night time Away” was robbed of an Oscar nod by that foolish rule you could solely nominate two from a sure film. Nevertheless, I don’t QUITE perceive how all that gels with a canopy during which Dua is slumped in opposition to a wall. Even when she’s artistically, fastidiously slumped, there’s a defensive posture to it, like somebody is crawling towards her and he or she’s weighing whether or not she must kick them within the face. One thing triumphal would’ve been extra enjoyable. I simply want, particularly as a forward-facing newsstand picture, that it projected power and never trepidation.
