The annual J’ouvert parade celebrating Caribbean heritage kicked off in Brooklyn on Monday morning.

Consistent with the New York Post, 5 people had been arrested on gun prices on the J’ouvert competitors on Monday.

There was heavy police presence because of the J’ouvert celebrations are liable to violence.

Three people had been shot all through an altercation near the competitors on Monday evening.
